At Lakewinds, we have a lot to celebrate! From locally grown, organic produce to clean skin care, we love bringing good food and products to our shelves — and to you. We have seasonal events throughout the year, plus sales events, like Wellness Wednesdays, which are held the second Wednesday of each month, and Senior Tuesdays each week.
Here are some of our upcoming events, so you can take advantage of in-store savings and join us in celebrating at the co-op!
March
March is FoodShare Month!
The Minnesota FoodShare March campaign brings together organizations, businesses, faith communities, and individuals to help keep more than 300 food shelves statewide stocked throughout the year.
Throughout March, round up at the register or purchase food shelf donation cards in $5, $10, or $20 amounts to help support local food shelves in the communities we call home. Your donations at the Minnetonka store support ICA food shelf, at the Richfield store they support VEAP, and at the Chanhassen store they support PROP food shelf. Help us reach our goals at each store to unlock up to $15,000 additional funds contributed by Lakewinds. See cashier for details, and find out more about Lakewinds’ food access partnerships here.
International Women’s Day
March 8
International Women’s Day is an opportunity to celebrate the contributions of women in our co-op community. We’re inspired by the women we work and interact with at the co-op. From the meat counter to store management, from farmers and makers to our amazing customers, we appreciate your hard work, tenacity, and support every day. Thank you to women and those who support women — because we know we’re stronger together.
Wellness Wednesday
March 12
Enjoy 15% off all body care products and supplements in our wellness department on the second Wednesday of each month. Lakewinds owners can use their 5% monthly discount along with the Wellness Wednesday discount for even bigger savings! Sale is in stores only, while supplies last.
Lakewinds Organic Field Fund 2025 Results
Late March
The Lakewinds Organic Field Fund (LOFF) provides financial support for local farmers to help them achieve specific goals and complete projects on their farm. A committee of Lakewinds staff, board members, and local farmers will meet this month to discuss applications and award grants.

Lakewinds’ 50th Anniversary

This year marks 50 years of bringing the farm to you! Celebrate this milestone with us in ways big and small through the year, including new surprises in stores, classic recipes shared from the Lakewinds deli “vault,” and glimpses into our history with “throwback Thursday” social posts. Every Tuesday, Lakewinds shoppers age 62 and older receive 5% off their in-store purchase. (Sorry, but milk, eggs, and Breadsmith products are not included.) Let your cashier know that you’re eligible for the discount.
On the second Wednesday of each month, all body care & supplements are 15% off.
