Donations

Lakewinds is committed to supporting and investing in our communities, and one of the ways we give back is through our donation program. This program is ideal for silent auctions, drawings, or prizes for an event or fundraising campaign. We regularly donate items such as Lakewinds gift cards ranging from $25 to $100 or store products. We consider organizations whose programs or projects serve communities near our stores and fit the following criteria:

• All recipients must be non-sectarian, non-partisan, nonprofit organizations

• Environmental groups or causes

• Sustainable agriculture and organic food producers

• Education in the area of nutrition, health, and wellness

• Cooperative, community-based organizations

To submit a donation request, fill out the form below. Donation requests are considered monthly. Requests are due no later than the 15th of the month before the donation is needed. 

Lakewinds has a limited donation budget, and unfortunately we are unable to support every request. We do not make sponsorship-level donations to community or school teams or clubs. If you have any questions about your event or donation, please email marketing@lakewinds.coop.

Note: In the interest of sustainability, we are no longer accepting printed donation requests at our stores or business office. All donation requests must be submitted electronically through this website.

If you are looking for a larger contribution for your organization, our customers support our monthly Round Up program by rounding up their grocery total to the next dollar.
