Eric in the marketing department likes to use this spicy Southeast Asian pickled condiment in salad dressings. “Add a Tablespoon to a jar with 2-3 Tablespoons of mango chutney from Maazah, a Tablespoon of olive oil, and the juice of one small lemon and shake until blended,” says Eric. “It goes best with firm, peppery greens and cabbage.”

Originating from the coastal Catalonia region of Spain, romesco is a blend of tomatoes, almonds, hazelnuts, garlic, and herbs. It’s ideal for serving on grilled or roasted white fish, poultry, and veggies. Catalonians love romesco as a dipping sauce for charred spring onions, but it goes great with ramps as well!
