Annual Owner Meeting Recap

Thank you, owners, for celebrating our co-op community with us at our Annual Owner Meeting! Together we heard the board of directors’ election results, went over our latest fiscal year results, and heard about plans for the future. The afternoon was full of family-friendly fun on the farm, including wagon rides, farm animal visits, feeding cows apples, woolen crafts, and more.

2024 Election Results

Lakewinds owners have voted and the results are in! Incumbent Katie Semersky was re-elected, and newly elected board members are Emily Anthony and Mary Rausch. They’ll help guide the co-op for the next three years. Thank you to all of the candidates who ran, and congratulations to this year’s elected board members!

We also said goodbye to two outgoing board members, Bob Musman and Susan Lenczewski. Thank you for your years of service and we wish you all the best!

Owners were also asked to vote upon proposed bylaws changes. There was strong support: Of those who voted on the bylaws updates, over 90% voted yes. View the updated articles & bylaws booklet.

Community Connections

We were joined by 2024 LOFF grant recipient, Naima Dhore of Naima’s Farm; and Community Giving Round Up recipients, The Good Acre, BrightSide Produce, and Green Garden Bakery.
