Celebrate our co-op community at the Annual Owner Meeting! Find out the board of directors’ election results, go over our latest fiscal year, hear about plans for the future, and enjoy some family-friendly fun on the farm. All Lakewinds owners and their households are invited.
While the event is free, in order to reduce food waste we are charging $5 for adults (free for kids 10 and under) to reserve a boxed lunch from The Clover. You’ll be prompted to choose your meal preference, with gluten-free, vegan, and kids’ options available. Lunch tickets are available August 12 through 31. Please bring an electronic or paper copy of your ticket with you to the event. All ticket proceeds will be donated to our food shelf partners.
Owners may attend the business meeting, which begins at 1:15 pm, and enjoy activities on the farm for free. There will be wagon rides, kids’ crafts, farm animals, and more. If you have any questions, please email Marketing@Lakewinds.com. We hope to see you on the farm!
Schedule:
1 – 1:10 pm | Last chance to vote in our board of directors election, boxed lunches available (ticket required), beverages.
1:15 pm | Live business meeting begins with a look back on the year, election results, and a message from the board.
2 – 4 pm | Self-guided fun on the farm: community, kids’ crafts, farm animals, wagon rides, meet-and-greet with LOFF grant recipients, and other fun farm activities.
The event includes:
- A light boxed lunch from The Clover ($5 ticket purchase required prior to the event, free for kids 10 and under, with all proceeds going to local food shelves). Lunch tickets go on sale Aug. 12.
- Mini desserts from Green Garden Bakery.
- Self-guided farm tours of Gale Woods barn, gardens, and grounds.
- Wagon rides.
- Kids’ craft projects.
- And more!
