Spicy Charred Vine Tomatoes with Garlic

Ingredients
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound ripe baby tomatoes on the vine
- 2 cloves garlic, sliced
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Pinch of salt and pepper
Instructions
Heat a well-seasoned 12-inch cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat until smoking, about 5 minutes. In a medium bowl, gently toss the tomatoes in the olive oil to evenly coat. Add the olive oil, tomatoes, garlic and red pepper.
Cook 2 minutes, add the sliced garlic and red pepper flakes and turn the tomatoes over to char the other side. Cook an additional 2 to 3 minutes until lightly charred and about to burst.
Remove from the heat and season with salt and pepper. Serve with grilled bread.
